I started walking west, toward the tall apartment complexes on the tougher side of town. The city of my current residence-Los Angeles, the west coast's version of New York City-was alive and prospering even as the night deepened. I lived on the "nicer" side of town, called Mar Vista. I passed Louie's Steakhouse and turned into its alley, keeping quiet and in the shadows. Mom has known Louie ever since I can remember, and they've been good friends just as long. He was a round, short Mexican man with bushy eyebrows and moustache to match. He often smokes even though it's law not to inside buildings. Louie r .:Forbidden III:.

SOOOO I've been gone awhile. Missed me? I hope not .___.

Been really busy with school, so I haven't had neither the time nor patience to finish anything worth posting on dA. Even in my scraps. In addition, I'm trying to be extra good for the next few weeks for my parents because: 1. My birthday (OH SH*T) 2. My parents' anniversary! :0 3. Cruise to Bahamas. HECK YES. I've got tons of planning to do, and keep up with schoolwork AND fit some artsy time in there. And concerning my little trip, I'll be gone for about a week. So expect to see nothing from me until after the sixteenth of February. Gosh I hate not updating anything, especially in the new year. I want 2010 on DeviantArt to start out right D:

In other news... People continue to get on my last darn nerve ^-^;; I'd like to slap them into oblivion, but that's not going to happen. Ever imagined what it's like to have someone BREAK your art project that you've poured your heart and soul into? Ever wonder what it's like to act like a cranky old lady every time you go to school? Ever wonder what it's like reading a 600 PAGE novel for an English project and write a 10 page literary analysis on it? No? GOOD. (Never read Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison unless you'd like to be bored to tears. PLEASE.)

Huuurrrr. What else is there to say? So I'll just get back to reading and drawing and watching Paranormal State ♥
